I've been a Beatles fan since I was nine years old in 1992 - ITV celebrated Paul's 50th birthday by showing Help!, A Hard Day's Night and a documentary on the making of Pepper. The moment I saw John I was hooked, and THAT MUSIC.... it's almost like it was in my blood <3 My favourite period '62 - 67.
In love with this version of "It's Only Love", that little laugh at the start.... <3
The Cavern Beat
The Cavern Beat are a tribute band from Chicago and are the GREATEST at reproducing the Beatles' sound... they are simply fantastic. It takes a lot for me to think a tribute band are any good - so there we are. Check the boys out on YouTube - maybe you'll be amazed ;-) www.thecavernbeat.com/
I definitely should have been born in the 50's, to be able to experience the 60's as a teenager must have been amazing. I'm a bit of a grouchy cynical so and so, I love reading, tinkering on guitar, Formula One, tea, the odd bit of writing, the Professionals, photography.

not a great deal has been happening lately. I still love the Beatles, and still intend on finishing my If I Fell fic - I'm SO sorry that I've got behind with it. I never believed in writer's block really, until now! I've become quite enamoured of Elvis within the last few weeks - damn he was such a talent - and beautiful. There's some fantastic deviations on here of him, so I've been in heaven discovering them!
