The Quarry Men - 6th July 1957

This photo was taken during the procession down to the fete, along King's Drive - the photo is supposedly timed between 2 - 3pm. You can see John third from the right. Amazing to think that he is unaware that later that evening, he will be introduced to his friend and musical partner for the next twelve years.
